We are delighted to announce a new collaborative partnership with Medscape, that has resulted in a continuing medical education program, “Transforming the Management of Rosacea in Skin of Color,” featuring Skin of Color Society leaders Andrew Alexis, MD, MPH, Seemal R. Desai, MD, and Susan C. Taylor, MD. This educational webinar offers certifications for continuing education through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Physicians can earn a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and nurses can earn 0.50 ANCC Contact Hour(s) (0.25 contact hours are in the area of pharmacology).

This highly informative program can be accessed here:

We are so pleased to have collaborated with Medscape to create this important educational program about rosacea in skin of color—a condition that presents differently in darker skin and can thus be underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed and/or underreported in patients of color.

We gratefully acknowledge Drs. Alexis, Desai and Taylor for sharing their expertise to help educate the medical community about the nuances of managing rosacea in skin of color and thank Medscape for collaborating with us on this important project! Special thanks to Galderma for supporting this program.
