Synopsis of meeting:
The Skin of Color Society held a networking and educational event at the Smith and Wollensky Restaurant in Miami Beach, FL. The event provided members and other guests a chance to enjoy networking at an oceanside venue. The event was attended by established dermatologists as well as residents and a few faculty from local universities.
Participants began the meeting networking and enjoying the hors d’oeuvres. Kimberly Miller, SOCS Executive Director, welcomed everyone to the gathering. The hosts, Drs. Heather Woolery-Lloyd and Chere Lucas Anthony, welcomed everyone and shared their involvement with SOCS. The recently released SOCS promotional video was shared with the group. It can be found here.
