Mentorship is a pillar of the Skin of Color Society. We pride our organization on its strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of skin of color dermatologists, providing a rich and rewarding experience for mentors and mentees alike.
Over the years since the Society was founded in 2004, the SOCS Mentorship Program connects young physicians with approved skin of color dermatology expert members. These highly valuable mentoring relationships can occur for up to one year.
Over the years, this vitally important program continues to grow and thrive, with mentor-mentee success stories across the US and the globe— spanning the worlds of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in academic and private practice settings.
