Skin of Color Society Networking and Educational Symposium in Chicago

Chicago, IL – June 21, 2023

SOCS President-elect Victoria Barbosa, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAD, and Board member Caroline Robinson, MD, FAAD, hosted a captivating Skin of Color Society Networking and Educational Symposium on June 21, 2023, at Tone Dermatology in Chicago, IL. The attendees comprised a diverse group, including medical students, dermatology residents, academicians, and private practitioners.

The attendees had the opportunity to network while indulging in delightful cuisine provided by Chicago Restaurant Beatrix. Dr. Victoria Barbosa and Dr. Caroline Robinson warmly welcomed all participants and presented an overview of the Skin of Color Society’s membership benefits and ongoing programs. They also engaged in a Q&A session, discussing their respective paths to Dermatology and sharing insights about the future of the field. Dr. Robinson and Dr. Barbosa concluded the evening by addressing questions from the attendees and facilitating further networking. The event received positive feedback and generated significant interest from prospective members.
