Registration opens on January 4, 2023
We are thrilled to unveil the program theme and lineup for the 19th Annual Skin of Color Scientific Symposium, “Where Science, Innovation & Inclusion Meet,” which will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in conjunction with the 2023 AAD Annual Meeting.
This year, we will offer a full-day program, from 9 am-8 pm, including the SOCS Annual General Business Meeting, followed by the Scientific Symposium, and then our Networking Reception. Come spend the day with SOCS to kick off your Annual Meeting experience for a unique day of learning, connection, enrichment and inspiration!
This year’s Symposium continues the SOCS tradition of showcasing the latest skin of color dermatology scientific research and insights from emerging and highly respected experts and researchers from around the US and many countries around the world. Through a well-rounded scientific program, Symposium presenters will address important topics in skin of color dermatology—ranging from JAK inhibitors, skin cancer, and CCCA to health disparities, dismantling racism and more. Nationally and globally recognized experts as well as future dermatology leaders will share their insights with us through an exciting line-up of invited speaker presentations, moderated panels, oral abstracts and iPosters.

SOCS members will receive a reduced Symposium registration fee. SOCS Members must pay their 2023 membership dues prior to receiving registration link for discounted registration. 2023 dues renewal is required to access this membership benefit.
